Our heating and air conditioning system recently stopped working. We called a competing company to come to our home and give us a quote. They recommended a $3500 replacement to our system and, while they offered some alternative remedies, they quoted us nothing under $1500 to get our system working again. We do not want to spend that kind of money if it is not absolutely necessary so we called A-1 Ocean Breeze to take a look at the system, as well, to give us their opinion. The technician, Art, spent a lot of time checking every aspect of the system and found several problems. He offered us the option of a complete system replacement, but he also offered us other remedies that were more reasonable for us. He was able to get our current system working again, replaced an old thermostat, cleaned and oiled the interior workings of the system and did other repairs for a minimal amount of money. Sure, some people can easily drop thousands of dollars to completely replace their systems, but we were so thrilled to find a company that was thorough, honest, competent, and reasonable. We got all the necessary work done for around $300. We are always looking for the kind of organization who will do what is necessary, but not try to take us to the cleaners when we need some work done. We are VERY happy with A-1 Ocean Breeze, would highly recommend their work and will keep their number for future reference.
