Last year in Feb, my family proudly bought our first 32 inch flatscreen television made by Emerson at a local Wal-mart. We enjoyed the television very much until a year later, it turned off and never turned back on. I called several repair shops only to be told that it was a cheap television set and most do not repair them at all! The shops that do repair them change as much as the television costs! I call the corporation that made the television and have been hung up on and asked "what do you want from us now?" or "so what is your question?". Frustrated, I finally look up consumer complaints and I was shocked what I had found! There are 8 pages of complaints that their televisions are doing the exact same thing and have had no help from the Funai Corporation that make Emerson. I can barely make ends meet as it is and now I'm out of the $629 dollars I spent LAST YEAR to buy a cheaply made television.

Customer did call into our customer service assistance line and was given some incorrect information. We have forwarded this matter to the department managers for further coaching. One of our supervisor’s contacted the customer and set her up for an exchange of her unit, this was completed in December of 2009.
